Colony Club’s Drawing Room celebrates the historic building’s palatial interior architecture while layering in warm textures and materials. The event space is arranged around five equal bays each boasting a generous rug, coffered ceiling with gilded crown molding and delicate candelabra inspired chandelier. The columned rhythm of the room creates an opportunity for both cohesion and differentiation, perfect for cocktail hour or a strolling dinner.
Three center bays feature custom bar tables with a decorative wood base flanked by two lounge settings on either end. A blend of classic leather chesterfield sofas, bolder plaid accents and berry velvet chairs set a sophisticated residential tone. Richly stacked drapery frames the windows which are further accentuated by panels of scenic foliage wallcovering and original decorative molding.
The Drawing Room’s lobby has a decidedly moodier palette thanks to its rich wood floor, deep green walls and substantial gilded crown molding. Chocolate brown leathers, muted rug and midnight blue wingback chairs set the perfect tone for this warmly refined space.
