Medusa draws from Sicilian mythology and the enduring pull toward home. Like Sicily itself, a cultural crossroads shaped by architecture, cuisine, and tradition, the space weaves layered influences into a distinct and immersive heritage.

An unassuming door becomes a portal, transporting guests to the mythic world of Sicily and her seas. The Lounge and private dining room unfold like a pearl within its shell. Mysterious, luminous, and quietly captivating. Deep oceanic hues, rich textures, and layered detailing evoke the folkloric realm, balancing shadow and light to create spaces suited for both intimate evenings and celebratory gatherings.

This narrative thread carries through every detail. Traditional craft techniques anchor the design in storytelling: sgraffito murals etched by hand and embroidered linens inspired by silfato (thread pulling). Collaboration with local artists was integral to this process. Their perspectives and craftsmanship brought depth, authenticity and material presence, shaping the project into a true love letter to Sicily.

From the food to the finishes, each element reflects Sicily’s deep-rooted culture of myth and making. Through this layered expression, Medusa honors the island’s past while shaping a mythology all its own.
