We gave this 1962 home a top-to-bottom update while preserving its mid-century charm. Once inside, the dark exterior gives way to bright, white walls, white oak plank floors, and a white-painted brick fireplace.
With a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows, the home is flooded with natural light, and the clean, neutral backdrop ideal for standout features like original exposed brick, an original floating stair, and beautiful mid-century interior architecture.
Bringing together form and function–like all good mid-century design– carefully selected furniture and textiles introduce pops of color and geometric pattern, which serve the dual purpose of creating comfort and warmth, while adding a sense of playfulness.
