The Bronze Door resides in the location of a long-standing Grosse Pointe staple and is designed to evoke the nostalgia of a hometown favorite with an elevated palette and furnishings.

The original millwork was preserved and accentuated with rich blue-green paint and illuminated with soft light from sophisticated fixtures. The space plays with mixed patterns including understated neutral plaid carpeting and floor to ceiling paisley drapery. Beadboard clad booths and chairs with nailhead accents pay homage to traditional supper club aesthetics while a rich palette of mixed metals create a modern sensibility.

The restaurant is layered with art, artifacts and accessories that are a nod to the area’s nautical history, and create a space that is elevated enough for date night, yet comfortable and approachable for a weekday drink at the bar.
