Tasked with giving this local institution a refresh and reactivating several key areas, the experience-driven design concept focuses on comfort, conviviality, sophistication and warmth. Patrons are greeted at the front door by a stunning marble-block host stand and a statement making brass dome lamp.
The main corridor is illuminated by a row of muted globe lights that are dramatized by a row of full height walnut mirrors that amplify their warm glow. The bar area dining features a paneled walnut wall and brass sconces over a softly curved banquette, while a secondary dining room with a wall-spanning fish tank received a multi-tonal hand-glazed tile in a jeweled green finish.
The main dining room has a supper club vibe with a long central banquette with quilted check upholstery and decadent drapery. The overspace has a historical Detroit inspired feel that invitees diners to linger longer over cocktails and live music.
